Our students from the Urban Leisure & Tourism Lab Amsterdam managed to do it again – but this time with a “twist” – prototypes for a tour of Amsterdam North were in fact presented in the open air, at the Buikslotermeerplein marketplace.
Each group proudly presented their own stand, beautifully decorated and completely focused on engaging stakeholders and visitors of Buikslotermeerplein. Everyone who stopped by was able to learn about the various prototypes, ask questions, give feedback and be inspired by the concepts that were conceived.
The energy was palpable and the feedback from visitors incredibly valuable.
Thanks to, among others:
- Inge Maass (Municipality of Amsterdam)
- Berber Hidma, Anouschka Trauschke (Tours that Matter)
- Warm Welcome Amsterdam Foundation
- Mike van Wetten (Stadspodium)
- Jeroen Jager MA & Zac Woolfitt (Urban Leisure & Tourism Lab Amsterdam)
- Esther Bouw (Leisure Management Inholland)
- Jolanda Möller (Inholland)
Special thanks to Daan Woudhuysen for arranging the market samples! And of course to all the random passers-by who selflessly showed their interest.
We are proud of the work done by our students and look forward to seeing how these concepts are further developed.
